I just did as your instructions and there is no change in the list under 'Universal Serial Bus controllers when I plug or unplug the Esky. XP does give a sound signal when I plug in or unplug the Esky, but it does not show up in The Universal Serial Bus controller list.
Under 'Universal Serial Bus controllers I have 4 'Intel(R) 82801EB USB.' There are 4 'USB Root Hub' listed. I think these must be my 4 USBs on my mother board.
