Irene Meyer-lopez, Author At Little Square

Irene is an inhabitant of the town of Zeiss. She's a merchant who sells flowers at her stand in the square outside the Central Factory. Irene enjoys flowers and rues the fact that the town of Zeiss, being an industrial town, has so little of them.

Asian fusion fare meets Jewish cuisine at on Thursday, October 4th. As part of their on-going guest chef series, the Kendall Square delicatessen is inviting Mei Mei chef Irene Li, recently named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, for an epic evening with a mash-up of flavors. The menu takes its cues from both spots with offerings like BBQ brisket bao, whitefish rangoon, double loxsome (a twist on Mei Mei’s double awesome) and kung pao pastrami. Don’t skip the Mei Mei X Mamaleh’s reuben either — it’s everything you’d expect in the signature sandwich (corned beef, swiss, sauerkraut and Russian dressing) but tucked inside a scallion pancake instead of rye.
